Avatar — $237 Million
Avatar broke all the records set by earlier released films. It was the priciest movie made ever. Even James Cameron’s previous classic Titanic could not stand before Avatar. Science fantasy film Avatar also set new records to gross total revenue which makes it larger than life.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince — $250 Million
Second last in Harry Potter film series, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is on fourth place in the list of most expensive film with huge budget of $250 Million but it was the biggest earning movie of the year too.

John Carter — $250 Million
Year’s biggest looser film John Carter shares fourth place with Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince in terms of total budget still it stands nowhere if compared to total income of both films.

Spider Man 3 — $258 Million
Third in the Spider Man series, Spider Man 3 is an excellent movie in every term regardless, story, special effects, acting, income including expensive budget of $258 million.

Tangled — $260 Million
Based on famous fairy tale of “Rapunzel” Tangled is quite awesome because of its beautiful presentation of everything. No sooner you start to see, you lost in the frames until the film ends. Perhaps you do not know that this giant size budget film was produced spending over $260 million by Disney.

Pirates of the Caribbean (At World’s End) — $300 Million
Featuring Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz, Pirates of the Caribbean (At World’s End) is a mammoth sized film if asking about total budget. It was completely shot in $300 million which made it first in the list of World’s most expensive films.
