Although 84th Academy Awards nominations will be announced on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 and final Academy Awards Event will be aired on Sunday, February 26, 2012; people are keen to know who will win which title. Rumors have been begun and lobbying is its top among artists. While everybody wants to peep for the final winners, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science unveiled the poster for the 84th Academy Awards.
This poster is a tribute to various great Best Picture winners of the golden awards. Poster is designed by graphic designer Anthony Goldschmidt, Karen Crawford and Mark of the design firm Blood & Chocolate. Poster starts with line “Life, Camera, Action” underlined by Oscar winners “Gone with the Wind” (1939), “Casablanca” (1943), “Giant” (1956), “The Sound of Music” (1965), “The Godfather” (1972), “Driving Miss Daisy” (1989), “Forrest Gump” (1994) and “Gladiator” (2000). Classic gold statue is looking prominently and the 84th Academy Awards is written in Big Golden Colors.
All films painted in the poster won Best Picture excluding “Giant,” it achieved George Stevens a Best Director Statue. Poster’s tagline is, “Celebrate the movies in all of us.” Tom Sherka, Academy President told that Academy Awards is an honor to celebrate life and culture that we live in real life.
