Biography
Alex Meneses was born Alexandra Estella DeAnna Meneses, on the south side of Chicago. She is of Mexican descent on her father's side and Ukrainian descent on her mother's. While in high school, she studied acting at Chicago's Second City Improvisational Theater, during summer vacations. Immediately upon graduation from high school, the lovely Alex got a modeling contract, her assignment was in Milan, Italy. Originally, she was to stay in Italy for only 3 months, but fell in love with Italy and stayed there for 2 years. When Alex came back to the USA, she headed to Los Angeles, where she studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute. Alex has appeared in numerous L.A. stage productions, and then went on to several feature films. Alex portrayed "Teresa Morales" for one season on the "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" (1993) TV series (1997-98), and played the sensuous "Roxie" to perfection in The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas (2000). |
